Corporate Support Coordinator applications accepted through 8/29/08

GLT’s Corporate Support Coordinator is responsible for underwriting sales on behalf of public radio station WGLT. WGLT, in partnership with Illinois State University, offers unique broadcast, podcast and web stream services to a loyal audience approaching 30,000 listeners a week. We carry National Public Radio news and information programming, local and national jazz programs and the area’s only blues service.  Located on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal Illinois, WGLT serves an affluent and rapidly growing community in an area that offers all the cultural benefits of a two university town. Big city attractions in Chicago and St Louis are just a 2-3 hour drive away. You must apply for this position on line by August 29, 2008.

Student Employment

Student employment at WGLT includes positions in broadcast journalism, on air announcing, and clerical areas. Applicants must be registered for at least 6 hours of Illinois State University courses, and must be pursuing a full time degree. Openings for student employment at WGLT are posted on the Illinois State University Student Job Website.

Internships

Internships for course credit may originate in any ISU department, and require that the student be enrolled for an internship course. Internships are available in these areas:
